Welcome to GAAPA

  GAAPA was founded in 2005 by a group of appraisers that were concerned about the state of the appraisal profession in Georgia.  The founders wanted to create an organization that would help members, and other interested individuals, become more informed and better equipped to address the challenges encountered by appraisers. 

  The GAAPA meetings have provided some very informative speakers covering topics of great interest. Speakers at past meetings have included representatives from the Georgia Real Estate Appraisers Board, the Appraiser Qualifications Board, the Appraisal Standards Board and the Georgia Attorney General’s Office.  

  Through our membership meetings and other methods, GAAPA hopes to continue to increase the knowledge level and improve the business practices of our members and the Industry.
